Interested in honey bees but can’t make it here for a visit? Our ‘Live from the Hive’ virtual sessions can bring the hive to you!
Using Microsoft Teams or the Zoom video platform, we will broadcast the opening of a hive straight to you! Watch as a hive is opened up, learn all about honey bees and see them in action. Our presenter will talk you through the life of the hive and the wonders of the honey bee, and answer any questions that you may have. Perfect for groups that are just a bit too far away to visit us!
Suitable for community groups, or students in a classroom or assembly (primary or secondary).
Sessions run from mid-March – September. We offer it on Monday and Tuesday mornings at either 9am or 9:15am. The day available and start time will depend on the time of year booked and may be flexible, so please do enquire even if these days and times don’t suit you. The session lasts 30 minutes and includes Q&A and costs £130 (including VAT).
