Quince Honey Farm Strikes Gold at South West Tourism Awards

We are delighted to announce that we have taken home Gold in the Tourism Innovation Award at this year’s South West Tourism Awards.

The awards celebrate tourism businesses across the whole South West region. This year it featured 75 finalists and 33 commended following over 400 entries from Devon, Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

The winners were announced in an online ceremony on Thursday 22^nd April and members of our team attended via their computer screens to hear the good news.

This latest win comes just a few weeks after we achieved Gold in the Tourism Innovation Award and Bronze in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year at the Devon Tourism Awards 2020. Following an incredibly difficult year for all leisure and tourism businesses, these awards are very welcome for all of us.

Ian Wallace, Quince Honey Farm Partner said, ‘We are absolutely over the moon to have won Gold in the Tourism Innovation Award at the South West Tourism Awards. To be recognised in this way for all our hard work is a great honour. It not only shows how much we have grown over the past two years following our relocation in 2019, but that we have maintained our high standards and demonstrates our ambitions for the future.’

Ian continues, ‘We are coming out of an incredibly challenging year for the tourism sector and this award, along with our recent two at the Devon Tourism Awards, has given us a welcome boost for the start of our 2021 season.’
