Quince Honey Farm sits just outside the historic market town of South Molton. The town is known as ‘The Gateway to Exmoor’ located just a stones thrown from the beautiful moors of the National Park.
The market town is right in the heart of the Devon countryside and offers a lot of independent boutique shops. The town is known for it’s vibrant market days – which are a must if you visit on either a Thursday or a Saturday.

Quince Honey Farm is perfectly positioned on the edge of the ancient market town of South Molton. Described as “the gateway to Exmoor”, it provides easy access to many of our region’s best bits!
The Valley of the Rocks
The Valley of the Rocks is a stunning section of coastline on the northern edge of Exmoor. It’s unusual from a geologic perspective as the valley runs parallel to the coastline, which boasts the highest sea cliffs in England. With incredible views from the coast path, take in the salty sea air and why not stop by the see if you can find the ‘White Lady’ near the top.

Exmoor National Park
The home of our Heather Honey, Exmoor is a stunning moorland area covering nearly 700km squared. Keep your eyes peeled for the beautiful Exmoor Ponies and majestic red deer, just two examples of the wonderful wildlife you could come across. There’s fantastic walking routes and good old fashioned pubs – a great way to get away from it all.

South Molton Town
South Molton is often referred to as the gateway to Exmoor. With its quiet setting it is a great base to explore the moor and the surrounding areas.
South Molton is a popular market town, there are a small number of local shops and a focus on markets. There is a main market during the week and an extra pannier market at a weekend. The town has built a reputation for its cafes serving locally sourced food and the independent shops and market stalls sell everything from handmade chocolates to locally crafted home ware.

Barnstaple Town
An ancient market town, Barnstaple boasts a flourishing Pannier Market to peruse which is right next to the bustling Butchers Row, filled with delicatessens, cafes and local delights. Explore the High Street and Green Lanes shopping centre and wander down for a riverside walk. There’s plenty of great eateries too!
