From pollinator to plate … a 5 course taster evening.
As part of Exmoor’s Nature Festival, you are invited to a very special evening event at Quince Honey Farm. Our award-winning Nectary Restaurant welcomes you to a dining experience that will take you on a journey from pollinator to plate. You will experience a 5 course taster menu unlike any other you may have had, where the ingredients that make up each and every dish are made possible only as a result of bee pollination.
The evening will start with a short talk from Ian Wallace, Master Bee Farmer and Partner of Quince Honey Farm, who will introduce you to the world of honey farming and a brief history of the farm as it enters its 76th year. Learn about the importance of supporting our pollinators, the wondrous work they do, and hear about our connection with Exmoor National Park and the local communities of north Devon. Heather Harley, Conservation Officer at Exmoor National Park, will also join in to talk about the work that is underway to restore species-rich grassland and habitat for pollinators across Exmoor.
Then, sit back, relax, and delight in the 5 course taster menu that will be served to you.
We hope you will join us to celebrate our precious pollinators and marvel at the impact that these little insects have on the food that we take for granted every day… from pollinator, to plate.

- Advance booking is essential, Ticket sales will close 7 days before the event date.
- Please book tickets for your complete group so that we can plan seating arrangements accordingly.
- Customers must inform us of any dietary requirements and allergens at the time of booking. This includes vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and dairy free requirements. If we are not informed in advance of the event then we may not be able to cater for your requirements.
- Customers must cancel at least 72 hours before the event to receive a full refund.
