The queens are bred from North Devon Queens’ best selected stock for their low tendency to swarm, high honey production and calm temperament. They are bred in Devon and are suited to the British climate.
The virgin queen bees are sold as a 1-day old queen. This queen will need to go for a mating flight after introducing her to the colony of bees. The queen will come marked with this year’s colour.
