Visit Quince Honey Farm this half term from Saturday 23rd until Sunday 31st October where there will be plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained.
In the Play Hive your little terrors will be able to enjoy Halloween themed craft activities each day, as well as face painting on Monday, Friday and Saturday (30th) and spooky glitter tattoos on Wednesday courtesy of our friends at Devon Facepainting. There will be a fancy-dress competition taking place twice a day, every day with a prize for the winner, so get your kids kitted out in their scariest outfit and join in!
Keep your eyes peeled in the gardens for some creepy looking scarecrows, and help your children complete the Terrifying Treasure Trail as you explore Quince Honey Farm together.
Learn about bees, honey and everything in between as all the tours and talks will be taking place as usual every day. In the Flower to Hive Talk you will find out how bees collect nectar and turn it into honey, watch the Beekeeping Demo to see a real hive opened up in complete safety, and join the Honey Factory Tour to see the honey production areas and sample some of our delicious honeys.
When you need a break, head to the Nectary Restaurant for some autumnal treats. There will be Halloween themed cakes and bakes and tempting specials on the menu, perfect to go alongside a warming cuppa.
The Shop is where you will find a selection of bee and nature inspired gifts and homeware, plus our delicious honey range. The Shop and Nectary Restaurant are free to enter, so passers-by are very welcome, no booking required.
We are open daily, 9.30am-5pm. Booking in advance for either the full attraction or the Play Hive only is advised due to capacity limits still in operation. Book your tickets here.
