We are delighted to have won two Silvers at this year’s Devon Tourism Awards, for Small Attraction and Learning Experience of the Year.

The awards were held at North Devon’s Highbullen Hotel on Thursday 22nd November, in a grand ceremony featuring many tourism businesses from across Devon.  Award categories covered a huge range of visitor experiences from accommodation, activity centres and attractions to restaurants, pubs and cafes.

Our first Silver of the night was the Learning Experience of the year award. This is awarded to those that can ‘demonstrate that they have gone the extra mile to deliver an outstanding and innovative learning experience’.

The next Silver was for Small Attraction, with one of the criteria being to offer visitors an ‘exceptional standard of service and an outstanding, memorable experience’.

Sarah Anderson from Quince Honey Farm says, ‘It symbolises everything we have worked for over the past year. Our staff are committed to making sure our visitors have the best day out they could possibly have, and so to be recognised for that is a real honour.’

The awards evening itself was attended by members of the Quince team and provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate together and network with other tourism businesses. Devon is a wonderful place to visit, with many excellent attractions, eateries and accommodation providers. We are thrilled to be included amongst the best the county has to offer, and the future is bright!

In 2019, also our 70th anniversary, we are embarking on an exciting new development as the business is relocating to a purpose-built site at Aller Cross near South Molton. The new Quince Honey Farm will reopen in April 2019, bigger and better. During this winter, the shop can still be found at the old site in South Molton, even though the rest of the attraction is not open to allow for the move, so you can still stock up on your favourite honeys or buy online here.
