Something for everyone, come rain or shine!
Join our guided tours to learn about the wonderful world of honeybees, honey and everything in between!
A visit to Quince Honey Farm will take you on a honey journey from flower to jar where we aim to deliver a fun learning experience that inspires and entertains visitors of all ages. Our tours are run daily by our friendly Education Team who offer a selection of drop-in activities. You can take a tour of our bee-friendly Nectar Gardens, finding out why flowers are so important for our honeybees and plant your own bee-friendly seed to take home with you. You can join our tour of the Honey Factory and take a look behind the scenes at our honey production areas before sampling some of our delicious honeys. You can learn about the fascinating substance that is beeswax and have a go at rolling your own beeswax candle. Your little bees can enjoy buzzing around our indoor soft play and outdoor play areas. And finally, the highlight of your visit could well be our live beekeeping demonstration where a honeybee hive is opened up right in front of your eyes!
On top of all this, our award-winning Nectary Restaurant serves up delicious breakfasts, snacks and lunches every day. We are dog friendly too and dogs are welcome everywhere except for the Play Hive (the children’s indoor soft play area). We also offer other special events, talks and workshops throughout the year that you might be interested in – you can find out more on our events page here.
Take a look below at what a visit here has to offer …
Dogs are welcome!
We love animals here and are pleased to welcome all well-behaved dogs on leads into the attraction and on all the tours. The only place we don’t allow them is in the indoor soft Play Hive (assistance dogs are allowed in all areas). Poo bins are situated around the site and we have spare bags if you need one – please ask at the shop. Water bowls are placed around the attraction and free doggie treats are available too!
